Department Mission Statement
The Mission of the University of Holy Cross Education Department is to educate the hearts and minds through experiential service that fosters the spirit of compassion, justice, and selflessness in an ever-changing world.
This guiding principle provides the basis for all programs to create a dynamic learning environment that prepares high-quality teachers and leaders who effectively meet the diverse needs of P-12 students, their families, and the community. Through the purposeful planning of courses offered in varied modalities, the EPP ensures that candidates develop and practice the knowledge and critical skills related to learner development, learner differences, and safe, supportive learning environments.
